Cities in Pasco County FL

Wesley Chapel, Florida was named after the Methodist Church that stands on the corner of SR54 and Boyette Rd. This church was originally named Double Branch by Mr. Thomas Boyette in token to the double creeks that flowed through his property. The church was named in honor of John Wesley who was the founder of the Methodist faith. Once originally part of Hernando County, Wesley Chapel became a part of Pasco County in the late 1800s when Hernando County was divided into three counties, Citrus, Pasco and Hernando. It was in these times that Wesley Chapel, Florida provided occupations such as crop farming, cattle, and citrus. However, when the interstate began to come through the area in 1960, Wesley Chapel began to grow more populated with people and less populated with farms.

Today Wesley Chapel, Florida offers real estate in an array of upscale subdivisions. From Seven Oaks to the lakefront homes of Saddlebrook, this beautiful community offers luxury homes with a taste of flair.
